How much of an impact does Google+ page age have?

Do Google+ pages gain authority with age? Does it matter very much if I wait a few months to make a Google+ page as opposed to establishing it now, even if I won't be doing much work on it for a while?

I agree with Brad, It certainly won't hurt to get a jump on the pack. I don;t take anything lightly that google promotes and unlike other social sites google plus does follow.

I'm not exactly sure if a Google + page does gain authority with age, but is there any harm in starting the page now and getting a 2-3 month jump on building relationships/networks with others?
If you are thinking about doing it, why not just do it now? Plus - there's some great resources out there, particularly in the SEO industry. I've learnt a wealth of information in the 1-2 months I've been on Google +. Just my 2 cents.

Facebook Share from personal wall to fan page
Is it possible to share a post from someone's personal FB wall to a company fan page if they have the permissions set to allow this? I often get a message that a share was denied and I'm not sure if shares from personal to business fan pages are always denied or if this is controlled by the person's privacy settings.

Google Plus Cover image
Does anyone have any tips on getting a super crisp cover image uplaoded to G+? I have a clear image, full dimensions of 2120 x 1192, but once I've uploaded it, G+ appears to compress it and it loses sharpness / quality. I have turned auto-optimise off, and and tried both JPEG and PNG files - PNG seems to work better, but still not quite there. Merging 2 Facebook pages
Hi Everyone, I have a client who has 2 Facebook pages for the same business. One of the pages has 300 likes and the other 1200. They do not want to look the likes. Any official stats on authorship impact on SERP click-throughs?
I'm trying to make another push to get authors on my site to set up authorship. Can anyone point me in the direction of any official stats from Google on the impact of authorship on SERP click-throughs? I've seen some articles on SEO sites that make it seem like the lift is anywhere from 20-40%, but those seem to be site specific cases. I'm wondering if there's any broader studies out there or official data from G. Thanks!

Should I have Facebook Likes on my webpage point to a Facebook page or just the domain?
We have a Like button on our site which currently Like's our domain. I'm wondering if it would be better if it Liked a Facebook page for our company. The benefit of liking the domain as I can see it is that when it appears on timelines a click will take you directly to our site.
