Infographics
-
I understand they are informative pieces or artwork however, Im really puzzled where they get used? on the website, facebook, etc?

What about submitting infographics to sites that require a fee? For example I ran across this site that had a $35 fee to "review" the info graphic. Does paying for the "review" violate Google's terms for "paid links"?

You can also share them on SlideShare's brand new infographic player!

Infographics are linkable assests! Infographics are valuable for creating opportunities to: develop branding, self promotion, establishing authority on a topic, generating traffic, building links and ultimately increasing search rankings.
They are normally shared on sites such as visual.ly and Pinterest, or they can be embedded in a blog posting to enhance the content.

Here are some blog posts from Moz about infographics and where to place them that might be helpful.

Use them wherever it is the most relevant for your business - website, blog, etc... and then promote via social media, infograph sites and other off-page efforts.

Backlinks
We all know that SEO companies often build backlinks from LinkedIn, Facebook, and X accounts for their clients, but where else do you build backlinks for every client to help improve your clients organic SEO?

Lazy Loading & Image SEO
I wanted to implement lazy loading on my whole domain, but was unsure about the effect on the organic image search. Therefore I implemented it some months ago on 3 selected URLs with medium organic image traffic. Unfortunately all 3 pages dropped significantly (roughly 80%) of image impressions and clicks (seach console data). It seems that just images within the fold, that are not loaded via lazy load are still ranking. Does anybody have here more positive experiences?

Which SEO tactic should I concentrate on first?
Hi All, I'm a freelancer specialising in marketing and advertising for small businesses Creative Express and I was wondering what I should concentrate on first in terms of SEO? I know that targeting the right keywords are important, as are backlinks, but also TOS etc. I haven't built up much of any, but the time has come to put in significant effort in SEO. Is there something that I should be putting the most effort in to? Is there a list somewhere that shows priorities? Thanks in advance, Dan

Infographic Backlinks - Anything to watch out for?
I am about to launch an infographic campaign for a client. The infographic turned out fantastic, and I believe it's going to be very popular with dog bloggers. Is there anything I need to worry about? I expect a lot of backlinks from embeds. Once it launches, I'll share it here so you can see how fabulous it turned out. 😉

Is getting views to an infographic through Imgur beneficial to SEO?
I'm considering posting infographics to Imgur in addition to hosting them on my site in an effort to leverage Reddit a bit more this year. My concern is that, if all goes well, we'll get a ton of views through Reddit to Imgur, maybe a couple clickthroughs to the site, and links to (probably) the Imgur page. I don't see that Imgur gives your profile a followed link, so how would any of this help SEO. I assume it would, because respected guys like John Dougherty espouse the benefits of Reddit, but I can't see how and I need to justify the effort to my department head.

Does Anyone Have Resources for Infographs
Seeing a recent comment about promoting infographs here in the forum, I thought I might ask if anyone has any resources on getting them made, obviously they are a great way to promote and are extremely shareable becoming a link building source. I am not a graphic artist so am wondering if any of you have used someone to build them with any luck?

Infographic: how to organize and make it pretty
Hello, I've attached an outline of the content of our infographic. I would like help making it pretty and organized into an infographic. This is my first one and it has to be good. This is the first of a group of 3 since there is so much to put in them. our site: nlpca(dot)com The content is from here: http://www.nlpu.com/NewDesign/NLPU_WhatIsNLP.html (a friend of ours' definition) The term "What is NLP?" is the top linked-to content term in our industry. Any other infographics you can show me to get an idea of how to do this would be great. I've watched the recent mozinar many times so I'm partially good to go. I'll be using Illustrator. Thank you! for-seomoz-v2-small-1-5-12.gif
