Is this too soon for html5?
-
Hello mozers,
I was wondering if it was too soon to use HTML5 and CSS3 to developp my customers' website? Which navigators and which version of them support HTML5 perfectly?
Thank you for yours answers,

Thank you very much Vahe for this article. I think that I'll choose to developp in HTML5 now however it's the future

Hey Jonathon,
I wouldn't entirely rely on creating your customers site's using HTML 5 and CSS3, however start thinking of implementing rich media i.e. flash, silverlight in HTML 5 to benefit from code bloating and improving the sites crawlability and indexation.
All browsers do render HTML 5 & CSS 3 however they have not become popular enough to become standards. I'm suspecting a move next year.
Here's an interesting article about HTML 5 & SEO if your interested- http://searchengineland.com/seo-best-practices-for-html5-truths-half-truths-outright-lies-99406
Hope this helps,
Vahe

Seeking Advice on Improving On-Page SEO for my Website
I'm looking for some expert advice on improving the on-page SEO for my website, CCTV Camera Installation. Despite following best practices, I feel that my site isn't performing as well as it could be in search engine rankings. Here are a few specific areas where I'd appreciate some guidance: Content Optimization: I've ensured my content is keyword-rich and valuable to my audience. On-page SEO
This is a question for the organic SEO experts, once you added the main keyword that you want to rank for in the homepage title, meta title plus meta description, perhaps once or twice in the text on the homepage. How often do you then write it in the content marketing, say blog posts, we want to rank higher on Google for "SEO agencies Cardiff" however if you mention this in the blog posts too much say once a week, this could lead to over optimisation issues?

Downsides on shortening article title?
Hi there, I'm new to Moz: great tool so far! I just tried the page optimization feature and see that (for instance for this article) page titles are often too long. Now it's tempting to just shorten the title straight away, but I have a memory of someone once telling me changing the title will change the URL. And changing the URL is something not appreciated by Google. Could someone please explain if and why this is/isn't the case? And if there are any downsides/things to consider before changing the article's title? Thank you in advance!

Wix.com Website Builder Html5 and SEO, what is your opinion
I'm planing to built a multilanguage website using a website builder. After reading websitetooltester.com reviews I came to the conclusion, wix.com should be the website builder I need. My first reason are the templates and there multilanguage options. But there is one thing, ready the review they mention: ''This is a bit technical; you can find the short version below. Wix is using the “single page pattern” meaning that the complete website code is essentially on one page. This works well for website visitors but not necessarily for Google as contents will be shown dynamically using Javascript and DOM manipulation. To solve this, Google supports something called ‘escaped fragments’ (or ugly URLs). With regards to Wix, it means that URLs will end like this: “#!wixseo|cqh1”. Google replaces the “#!” by “?escaped_fragment=” and receives only a minimal text-only page without Javascript. And this works well for Google. Try it here:

http://www.html5-websitebuilder.com/?escaped_fragment=cqh1 The official page ID is “cqh1” and not “wixseo”. But as the URL contains both IDs, the visitor can even see a description that’s readable by humans (and that’s important for SEO). You may have seen URLs containing “#!” already if you are a Twitter user.'' Should I worry about Google indexing all the pages? Is this website builder SEO frendly? Thank you for your help and time, BigBlaze0
