What are best keywords, category labels and tags to get best ranking in before and after photo posts

Your welcome,
any time.

Thank you very much,

I would suggest that since your current images are already ranking well then I wouldn't worry about them at this point, since it looks like it will probably hurt more to change them then to leave as is.
Just note that any more images added to your site should contain optimized keyword rich file names and "alt" tags.
-
Thank you very much. Need I worry that the current photos which appear in google images that are up and ranked well will disappear until the crawlers find them again and re rank them?
-
Your welcome,
yes, naming files properly will definitely benefit your page optimization, although not drastically, look at it more as a boost to your UX or user experience.
Unfortunately, you will have to delete your current image files in the media gallery and re-upload them for your new file names to display. Remember if you are working off of the live server your images will take awhile to update, due to browser caching, so don't freak out if the old names are still appearing =} If you have anymore question please ask. Hope that helps.
-
Thank you.
Many of my photos come from "my Pictures" with various "file names"
I do use alt tag but from my reading tonight it appears file name is important as well. For example I posted a tummy tuck photo ot appears in the proper place"Before and After Photos Tummy Tuck" on google but when you click on image it says Amanda.
I am assuming I must change file names on my pictiures and re load images into Worpress Media Gallery-?? correct

Hi there,
You would have to do a little bit of keyword research to find which words or phrases yield the best results. Start with the Google Adwords keyword tool. You have to sign up for an account if you don't have one already.
-
Once you have established your account, make sure to uncheck the 'Broad' category and check on the 'Exact' category in the left sidebar area.
-
Type in varies keywords or phrases you already have in mind then hit search.
-
Review the 'local' results to find how many times a month that keyword is searched on Goolge. This should give you further insight on which words or phrases you should use on your pictures.
You can also 'View Source' on other competitors websites to see what keywords they are using to also get a good starting point.

Photographer home page seo
I have a question about the best way to optimize a photographer's homepage for SEO. It's a simple answer if you specialize in one or two things but in my experience many beginner (and even seasoned photographers) will shoot whatever they can get their hands on. Perhaps you mainly shoot weddings and engagement sessions but you also shoot newborns from time to time, family photos, high school seniors and generic head shots. Granted the short answer may be to simply suggest that they specialize however coming from the photography world that isn't always feasible. Of course we'd suggest that they should create a page for each specialty to optimize for that specific keyword, but I'm talking mainly about the home page. Dallas Wedding Engagement Family Newborn headshot photographer looks pretty spammy and I'm sure Google won't like that either. In some cases you can definitely group things together, like family, senior portrait and new born could feasibly be grouped into "Dallas family portrait photographer" etc, but in other instances where you shoot everything not so much. So with that being said, in terms of optimizing both the title tag and content on the page (easier to separate out) what would your advice be?

Most efficiënt way to retrieve search volume for thousands of keyword
Hi, I'm trying to figure out how I can efficiently get search volumes for large quantities of keywords. Unfortunately Keyword Planner has reduced their limit of keywords:
Keyword Research | | CB0001
"You entered too many keywords. Please limit the number of keywords to 1,000. You can also upload a file with up to 800 keywords." Weirdly, the file upload's limit is now even lower than the normal limit. A 1000 keywords a time will be a real chore when you want to retrieve search volume for 50.000 keywords. I tried SEMrush, but it does not suffice due to the fact that a lot of keywords in my language (Dutch) are not in the database. I also looked into the Adwords API, but this does not yet seem to have any implementation in Google sheets? Ideas are welcome!1 -
What are Some the Best Keyword Research Tools?
I am looking for a keyword research tool other than Google Keywords Planner. What other tools can I use to perform great keyword research. I am looking for a tool than will help me to find better keywords for my SEO campaigns. My clients' websites are usually 30-50 pages, so I don't want to buy tools for $20K a year. I am looking for something around $60-$100 per month.

Does my website have a bad rank in google because EMD or lack content ?
Hello, I'm a beginner I just started my website xxx a few days ago. I submitted my url to several good quality directories (about 20, the last 3 days), I tried to write different descriptions for each directory. I have a very bad rank on google results (28+) for keywords "psychologue montluçon" I don't know if it's because of : lack of content, EMD, lack of backlinks (I submitted my website to directories, but its seems it takes a lot of time for updates). Sorry for bad english, if you can help, thank you !

How do I do SEO for a client who is starting a website that is in a niche with very little to none search traffic?
I am helping a client do On-page optimization and link building. His website is rather like thoughtcatalog.com, where it is a collection of random articles, opinions and anecdotes with no fixed genre. He also has a section devoted to artsy pictures of women. To make things worse, I am in a country (singapore) where the population is small, and the search traffic for his kind of content is minuscule. I have trouble finding out good keywords for him to target and I am considering not undergoing any serious keyword targeting at all (because it will detract from the style of his content). I did a little competitor research, and most of the websites in such a genre do not seem to do any keyword targeting at all! In such a case, how do i continue to help him with SEO? should I abandon keyword research? What should i do to help him earn traffic?

Please help with SEO keyword research
Hi Moz community, I would like to request your collective wisdom. I'm new to SEO and putting together an SEO research and strategy document for the employment service I work for. Have solid skills in Google Adwords and have ran a campaign over the last two years with excellent results. But this SEO thing is a whole new world! That's why who better to turn to than the leading community for SEO professionals? 🙂 Any support, advice, tips would be most welcomed appreciated. It's an employment service and I've got a list of keywords. For example, here are some of the action words I thought could be useful: <colgroup><col width="215"> <col width="91"> <col width="65"></colgroup> [find staff] 0.79 73 [find employees] 0.97 73 [looking for staff] 0.94 58 [looking for staff] 0.94 58 [staff wanted] 0.62 58 [looking for employees] 0.94 46 [look for work] 0.77 36 [looking for workers] 0.93 36 [find workers] 0.91 36 [employee search] 0.72 28 [staff search] 0.37 28 [find an employee] 0.79 22 [search for employees] 0.71 12 [find a worker] 0.66 12 [how to find employees] 0.71 12 My questions: Where to from here? If this was a Google Adwords campaign I would place the words in, create ad copy and test response. But with SEO, are these words useful? Can you target all of these words with SEO - or am I better finding words with higher volume? How many words should I be looking to target? For example, am I only trying to find the 5 or 10 highest volume words, or is it important to target lots of words with SEO? Is it just one set of keywords per page, or can I target all the above keywords on one page? I'm a bit lost. Thanks in advance for your consideration.
