Structured data - Schema is Good for SEO !
So ...
Check if structured data aka schema, microdata is being used on any given web page with webmaster tools <a>www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets</a>If you are trying to improve the page you can also use the Structured Data Markup Helper - html conversion tool to have Google auto-add schema to the page after you choose the relevant category:
<a>https://www.google.com/webmasters/markup-helper/</a>This is of course just one more method to use in addition to others mentioned.

Hi Keri,
I am asking about "site/theme/template is SEO friendly?" Is there any tool for that?

here are some great instructions on how to perform a site audit rather it be large or small.
Using the campaign tool here on Moz essentially if you pay attention to everything it does it will deliver a very good site audit in many ways.
http://analytics.moz.com/pro/home
https://www.distilled.net/blog/seo/do-your-very-own-site-structure-audit/

I know Raven tools have a UX site audit part of their offering however I cannot tell you if it is spot on or not.

Again I recommend using screaming frog hopefully this is more beneficial to you.
Sincerely,

I apologize I literally thought he was speaking about the way a website looks or its UX When you say website design did you mean more than the actual way the site looks? I gave him the links to a bunch of tools that used appropriately can teach someone quite a bit about at the usability of a website. I did not think that the question was regarding a site audit.
Varun I apologize and misunderstood your question. If you want more information on how to audit your site definitely follow the links that Keri has already giving you.
obviously you want to see if your site is experiencing issues that would be threatening to your websites user experience however I would start with making sure that it crawls well running a campaign here in Moz
another quick tool that you can use that I'm happy to see back is
https://moz.com/researchtools/crawl-test
screaming frog SEO spider is a fantastic tool to diagnose issues with your site architecture. You can download it for free, and it will crawl up to 500 pages after that you have to pay 100 British pounds which currently is about close to $160 USD as of this post.
that will allow you to have all the features that the tool advertises. Using that with the http://www.seerinteractive.com/blog/screaming-frog-guide
is a powerful combination.
I thought you literally meant design and UX Only.
All the best,
Thomas

When I want a fast general overview of a website SEO Potential, I check using 2 Moz Tools, On-Page Grader and Open Site explorer... plus a get a traffic estimate from some spy tool like similarweb.com However a full audit is need to know deeper about a website.

Are you asking about an existing site that's already in use? What could help then is doing a site audit. We have two Moz posts that have a lot of information about how to do an audit and uncover potential SEO flaws.
http://moz.com/blog/how-to-perform-the-worlds-greatest-seo-audit
http://moz.com/blog/how-to-do-a-site-audit
Or are you asking if a potential site/theme/template is SEO friendly?
-
Thomas,
I don't think all of these meet what the OP is asking for. Most of these sites are for prototyping or user testing, and not for examining an existing site for SEO.

Weird Layout on Initial Website Load?
Whenever I open my site from an uncached source, like google incognito, for a split second it displays purple links and a white background while it loads the rest of the content. I've included a screenshot. Is there any way to fix that.? The site is www.kemprugegreen.com. u8P9q

SEO with Webflow CMS (webflow.com)?
Some friends of mine are having their site redesigned. The designer is using Webflow, which appears to be a visual drag-and-drop designer. Has anyone come across Webflow before? How is it for SEO? I'm not typically pleased with visual designers for SEO, but maybe somebody's had experience and thinks it's fine.

Is having copy above the fold still beneficial for SEO
Many sites nowadays are approaching a section based approach with copy further down the page. Is it still valid to keep copy above the fold now for SEO. Will it impact on SEO if you have to scroll down the page?

Footer Links Good or bad?
Hi Can anyone answer this question confidently, I know Google is moving away from lots of links within the footer. However we specialise in websites for the travel industry and having a link to all the areas at the footer can be quite handy. Our websites complete this automatically. Here is an example where due to design of the site the links don't quite fit well, so we need to change anyway. But before completing the work I wondered if there was a better way to do this. http://www.dreamvillasitaly.com/ Many thanks Andy

Site Activity, SEO, and behind login
I have a site that provides online education and as such, most of the user activity happens behind a login. This has me thinking about potential SEO impacts with a few questions that maybe someone could lend some light on: How important is activity (above just search activity) to the search engines Would it help to enter these pages, even though they're behind a login, into GA as we have with the front-end of the site Does a subdomain make a difference (right now we implement the course as a subdomain of the main site Lastly, as I was looking at compete.com, I am wondering how they get these use statistics?

What is Best Platform to Build Website - SEO in mind
Hello... I am going to be creating two new websites shortly that will need to be built with SEO in mind. These will not be e-commerce sites, but instead will be informational with a couple pages of content on each. One will be used to get people to input their contact info and that info will be sent to our call center where we will call them back from. The other site will be heavily used for graphics, but still needs to have room for content (seo purposes)... Can you guys please recommend what platform i should have these sites written on (and please remember I need to do this on whatever is the most SEO-Friendly)... Thanks
