Best SEO Analysis Tool

I'm looking for a tool that will analyze a webpage for a specific keyword phrase and deliver good recommendations as to what I can do (on page and off page) to increase the Google ranking for that keyword phrase.
I'm trying IBP now, but so far the results haven't been good. Any suggestions?

After a second look, I see another page of our site ranking well for the keyword phrase. It's ranked 5th. That probably has something to do with why the other page is ranked so poorly.
The page ranked 5th is also getting an "A" rating from the On Page Keyword Optimization tool. It has a PA of 39, the DA is 50.
The PA of pages ranked 1 - 4 are; 33, 40, (unknown: Amazon), and 25.

It's our number one metric to understand why a client ranks some where on a page. Have lot's of clients who start with an A grade on the Keyword tool, but are not ranked. It's the Pages "PA" that has the largest determining factor in ranking. (In general)

As Michael and Simon have said the SEOmoz on page tool is great for this.
In terms of getting good recommendations for how to optimise you just need to look at the 'Factor Overview' and then go through each of the factors in 'Page Analysis Detail', click 'more' and it explains what is best practice there.
I really don't think you need any other software or tools for on-page optimisation although as suggested there are some for Wordpress but unfortunately I don't know any for the two you mentioned.
If, as you say, you get grade A but you're on page 3 of the serps then your on-page seo is good but perhaps the competition is stronger off-page and that is the area that needs the attention?
How do your domain and page metrics compare to the competition? Have you tried the keyword difficulty tool which is fantastic:
Run that for your keyword and then run a full serps report to see the competition level?

I've got one site running on Joomla and the other (an ancient site) running on Interchange. Any suggestions on plugins that can help in either of those environments?

I just spent a few minutes testing that tool and the recommendations are basic and not very useful. I one test, a not terribly competitive keyword phrase that's ranking on page three in Google delivered an "A" rating for the page.

The SEO Moz tools are great. If your site is wordpress there are a number of wordpress plugins that can help.

The best tool for this, hands down, is the SEOmoz On Page Keyword Optimization Tool (if you've never used it). I'm not sure what IBP is, but this tool lets you input a keyword and the specific URL/page you're targeting for that keyword and they will give you a grade based on how well it's optimized and what you should do to improve that grade if it didn't get a good one. I use it CONSTANTLY.

Drupal SEO Issues
Hi, I have two questions regarding my enterprise website. It is built on the Drupal CMS. First, and in looking at Google Analytics, I'm seeing more than 6k pages listed, but over 5k have received less than 10 page views in six months. In fact, most of them are not really content pages at all. The URLs I'm seeing listed, which to me indicates actual crawlable content in GA, shows pages like this: http://www.domainname.com/node/2153

Whats the best way to move 30% of our content behind a paywall and still get indexed without penalties and without letting people see our content before they subscribe.
Hi all - We want to create a membership program so that they can get more great stuff from us and offers, deals, etc. but only if they qualify to be a member via a purchase for example. The question is we want to move only some of our content (c.30%) behind the membership curtain - will be a mix of SEO value content. There are few questions/ concerns I am hoping you the SEO community can help me with: How can i ensure Google continues to index it without getting penalized. If i tell google bot to index but not allow Google and other sites to see the membership content will that create a penalty? Is that considered a form of cloaking? How can i prevent having to reveal 3 pages a day under Google's First Click Free set-up. I suppose i want my cake and eat it and i suspect the answer is well i cant. Any help or insights that can help me make this decision better is gratefully accepted.

Campaign Tracking URLs and the Impact on SEO
Hi Guys, I am setting up tracking for a couple of offline campaigns in Analytics and would just like to know if this will cause issues. The situation is below: Two URLs Ranking Well Organically: www.domain.co.uk/area-covered/area-a www.domain.co.uk/area-covered/area-b URLs Setup for the Purpose of Offline Campaigns www.domain.co.uk/campaign1 www.domain.co.uk/campaign2 Plan to Track this in Analytics www.domain.co.uk/campaign1 redirecting to www.domain.co.uk/area-covered/area-a_&utm_medium=qr&utm_source=test1&utm_campaign=test1_ www.domain.co.uk/campaign2 redirecting to www.domain.co.uk/area-covered/area-a&utm_medium=qr&utm_source=test2&utm_campaign=test1__ So the idea is that the user gets a nice simple URL to input from the off-line media (www.domain.co.uk/campaign1). This then redirects to one of the pages thats performing well organically (www.domain.co.uk/area-covered/area-a) but with the relevant tracking (www.domain.co.uk/campaign1 redirecting to www.domain.co.uk/area-covered/area-a&utm_medium=qr&utm_source=test1&utm_campaign=test1). The only way that the tracking URL can be accessed by the user is if the off-line media URL is entered. My main concern here is how Google will treat this. Obviously I don't want to cause issues with the two URLs that are ranking well organically. Would having a version of exactly the same URL, just with tracking do so? Any help is appreciated! Does Google encryption of keyword data impact SEO revenue reporting in Google analytics?
Hi there, I know Google has been encrypting SEO keyword data which they rolled out in September 2013. My question is - will this impact SEO revenue figures reported in Google analytics? I have been monitoring SEO revenue figures for a client and they are significantly down even though rankings have not lowered. Is this because of Google's encryption? Could there be another reason? Google Webmaster Tools not displaying all backlinks
I was asked to take a look at a site that a friend redesigned and immediately plummeted in rankings. It was a flash site where the domain redirected to a flash landing page. When the site was redesigned, they removed the flash page and put in the new site on the domain URL without changing the redirect or putting a 301 in place on the old flash landing page URL. This site didn't have many backlinks to begin with, but it did ok for some important search phrases. Now when I look in Webmaster Tools, there are only 2 backlinks showing. Meanwhile I know there are more backlinks in existence, primarily from yellowpages and citysearch. I've had them put a 301 on the old flash landing page pointing at the domain URL and they've added a canonical URL. What have I missed here?

Google Analytics Best Practice Set up for Clients
Hi When setting up new Google Analytics accounts for clinets what is the preferred/best practice. At present we have our own company google account and add new clinets this way (to our account) - the disadvantage with this, we can only grant them limited account access otherwise they would be able to view all the accounts we cretaed. Plus we can't link their adwords to the GA account we cretaed them. Is it best practice to set the client up with their own Google Account and then we just link to their account. Advise would be appreciated, thank you.
