            Hi Moz Community,

I'm encountering an issue with my health and safety training institute's website. We've been working diligently on building backlinks through various channels, including partnerships, content marketing, and social media. However, it seems that many of these backlinks aren't being recognized or displayed by any of the backlink tools we've used.

This is particularly concerning as our website's visibility and SEO performance are crucial for reaching individuals and organizations interested in our training programs. Has anyone experienced a similar issue with their website? Could there be a specific reason why these backlinks aren't being detected? Any guidance on how to resolve this would be highly appreciated.

            Thanks for your assistance!

I've noticed that not all backlinks are showing up on my website. Has anyone else experienced this issue? It's puzzling because I expected all my backlinks to appear, but some seem to be missing. Any insights or suggestions on why this might be happening would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

                      Hello everyone,

I've encountered an issue where all the backlinks to my website are not showing up. Despite having acquired several backlinks from reputable sources, they do not appear in tools like [mention specific tools if any]. This is concerning because backlinks are crucial for SEO and visibility. Has anyone else experienced this issue with their website? I'm seeking advice on how to resolve this problem and ensure that my website's backlinks are properly recognized and accounted for.

Thank you in advance for your insights!

I've been monitoring the backlinks for my website and noticed that not all of them are showing up in my backlink analysis tools. Despite knowing that there are more backlinks pointing to my website, the reports and tools don't seem to reflect the complete picture. I'm looking for insights or explanations on why this might be happening and how I can ensure all backlinks are accurately tracked and displayed. Any advice or recommendations from the community would be greatly appreciated.

It takes time for the SE's to show all backlinks, and usually never will. There are so many factors involved. This article explains it better than I can, well its a Q &A. But basically what you are seeing is a sample of what they have: https://support.google.com/webmasters/thread/61927226/how-many-days-does-google-takes-to-index-backlinks?hl=en

When you set out to massively create back links for a website, the temptation to check for changes every few hours or days is high. Within a week you will most likely be tired and frustrated. And that is because it might take you over two weeks for your efforts to start showing results.

The other inherent problem with quick massive link creation is normally quality. If you create links wherever you can leave a comment you will end up with many low quality back links. It's best Google will ignore such links but worst case scenario could be an outright penalty.

SEO is a long term endeavor. While it's good to have targets, don't set them too high to frustrate your doings.

                                              Cheers.

I found the following answer on Quora maybe that is the reason:
"It can take time for Google to crawl and index new backlinks, so they may not appear immediately. The backlinks may not be from reputable sources, and Google may not consider them as valuable."

In my experience, when it comes to assessing backlinks for both my website and competitors' sites, I personally favor Moz over Ubersuggest or SEMrush. I find that Moz consistently provides more accurate and reliable results.

my product is lazyapply.com. -> It's an automated job search application
can anyone suggest me what should id do ?
PS - for example i have backlink from crunchbase.com but my website is not showing me that

Hey there! As a fellow business owner, I can definitely understand your concerns regarding backlinks and their visibility on tools like Ubersuggest or SEMrush. It's important to note that not all backlinks may be captured by these tools immediately or may require some time to be indexed.

In your case, if you have obtained a backlink from a reputable website like Crunchbase, it's a positive sign for your website's authority and credibility. However, it may take some time for the backlink to be recognized and reflected in these tools.

To ensure you're on the right track, I would recommend continuing to focus on acquiring high-quality backlinks from relevant and authoritative sources. Consider implementing a diversified backlink strategy, including guest posting, social media promotion, and outreach to relevant industry websites.

Additionally, working with a professional digital marketing agency like Crescendus Marketing and Consultancy can be beneficial. They have expertise in optimizing backlinks and can help you navigate the complexities of SEO to further enhance your online presence.

I have been having the same issue and trying all kinds of approaches to solve this.
At the moment I can only share what has NOT been helpfull.

                                                          Case:

I do lots of outreach to newspapers, blogs, partners and set up cooperations and links.
To one that would give me most benefits is one that I did towards a German newspaper concern. The did wrote an article and linked towards my boatcharter page.

These are well established newspapers with the following DR:
                                                          DR 53 - DR 60- DR 43 - DR 42 - DR 58- DR 67 - DR 74

Ahref , SmallSEO tools, semrush and Moz all show these links accept Google does not....

                                                          Tried solutions:

                                                          1. Pinging
I have tried pinging all these pages via ping o matic, prepost seo and pingler to see if google then would pick it up. After waiting 7 days nothing

                                                          2. Crawling my website
As my website is google indexed and when I make a new blogpage I upload the link directlty in the google search console for fast indexing.

I made a thank you blog page containing links to the websites that contain my backlinks, So that when google crawls my page it should see these links and from there go check on those pages.

Waited 2 weeks and also did not work...

At the moment I am thinking out a new strategy as in total I still have about 15 real DR 50+ websites linking to my small website and it would be a considerable help for my DR.

                                                          Solution:
If anyone else has these issues, try to strategy that I did and leave your findings here.

If the web pages ranking above you have way more backlinks, then this could be part of the reason you're not showing up in Google. There can be slight differences between those backlinks that you can check in Moz, Ahrefs, SEMrush and others and those that actually are. The thing is that all those SEO software use their own crawler, like Google. And they have their own website database, like the index in Google.
To view a detailed list of your backlinks, go to Google Search Console -> Open "Links" in the bottom left corner -> Check External links.

Hi all, My understanding of obtaining backlinks by way of blogpost outreach is that it's best to include several outbound links to related high domain websites within blog post copy (as well as a link to the website you're marketing, obviously) such as this post https://www.scoopearth.com/why-should-you-use-royalty-free-music-for-youtube-videos/ or this one https://small-bizsense.com/how-to-create-quality-content-for-your-business/. However, I've recently read a few articles that suggest that from a human perspective only having one clear link in the copy, such as this post https://www.clichemag.com/entertainment/movies/the-benefits-of-royalty-free-cinematic-music-for-your-videos/, increases the chance of the reader visiting the site in question. I guess the thinking is that if there's only one link to be clicked on it increases the chances of click-thru, as opposed to the reader possibly clicking on another external link that's only there because of current SEO advice. So is it best to follow SEO guidelines and include several outbound links within guest blog posts, or is it better to only have the one link to your client's site (to focus the readers attention on it)?

I have noted that a lot of the links being flagged as toxic/spammy by the tool I am using seem to be the same/similar sites with different URLs. The sites are vaguely related to skiing (relating to helicopter travel options for travelling to ski resorts) but it is concerning me that there are so many of them and they are being flagged as so toxic.
Do you think it is worth disavowing these? Or contacting the owner to ask them to remove the link? I have included an example of some of the links below. https://www.cannes-helicopters.co.uk/index.php?menuopen=21&showcontent=5

There is a individual/company that is creating lots of spam sites in my niche. It doesn't seem that they are trying to rank for any keywords, so I'm a little confused as to their purpose, but here's what they're doing. They scrape the top 10 Google results for each keyword and create a page - so if the niche is "widgets", they scrape the top 10 ranked sites for 'widgets', 'blue widgets', 'red widgets', and so on. A 'results' page is created for each keyword, which is linked from a home page. The results page always contains 10 websites - text is the site metadescription or similar. Each website gets a nofollow link back with the page title used as the anchor text. The host sites all have the keyword in the domain name - e.g www.widgetsxyz.com. The sites are thrown together but interestingly have a very crappy but individual logo (like 90's clipart). The host sites all have high DA/PA due to some very extensive link spam pointing to the sites, with very targeted keywords. There is seemingly no purpose to these sites that I can see - no other 'followed' links on the page or site. Whoever is doing this is churning out tens, if not hundreds of these sites. Any ideas what might be going on here, and whether I should be disavowing these sites (even though no follow). The fear is that they could switch the links to do follow, and get all the major players penalised in one fell swoop. ???

I'm concerned about these sites disappearing after a few months, as we've found that losing a backlink can sting a bit and be worse than never having it. Though this isn't as big a deal any more. Anyways, can somebody say when a PR1/PR2 backlink would be appropriate to go after? Some of them would be easy and if it's appropriate I'd like to include them. So far they would only pass our standards if they are Above PR0 Look like a white hat, quality site from the outside Have a clean backlink profile Look like they're going to stick around Successful Social Media Accounts a plus What are you guys' criteria for including these sites? Do you gain value from them?

My domain is over 3 years old and ranks for multiple keywords, but I'm going to concentrate specifically on this keyword, but need to know how many links to back-link a day.  Again none of these will be spam, but will be of real quality. I was thinking 10-20 a day, but unsure.
