Over Optimised Magento Pages
-
We are working on a clients Magento site and we've added new copy which has a decent keyword density which is in line with best practice. When we run it through Moz we are getting a Key Word Stuffing alert saying the page has 27 keywords, where we can only see about 11.
This is the page https://www.greatbeanbags.com/bean-bag-cushions
The client is pushing back saying the page must have already been optimised before as our new copy has triggered the stuffing alert. But my guess is the page was already stuffed but buy some Magento code we can't see.
Any ideas?

We avoided keyword stuffing by having a simple real estate website landing page for properties in London
see https://richmondmanorestates.co.uk its clear simple and leads clients to relevant pages

It's possible that the page you're working on may have hidden or latent keywords within the Magento code that are contributing to the keyword stuffing alert in Moz. You might want to check the HTML source code of the page for any hidden elements or meta tags that could be adding extra keywords. Additionally, consider running the page through other SEO tools to cross-verify the keyword density and confirm if there's indeed an issue. If the keyword density issue persists, you may need to work on optimizing the code or structure of the page to ensure it aligns with best practices and doesn't trigger false alarms for keyword stuffing.

It's possible that Magento's code or some hidden elements are causing the discrepancy in keyword density on the page. While you can only see about 11 keywords, the Moz tool is detecting 27, likely due to background code or hidden text. To address this issue:
Check for Hidden Elements: Examine the page's source code for hidden elements, comments, or other content that might contain keywords. Sometimes, keywords can be hidden from the visible page but are still picked up by SEO tools.
Inspect Magento Templates: Magento's templates and dynamic content generation can sometimes insert keywords, meta tags, or other SEO-related elements into the page. Ensure that these are not artificially inflating keyword density.
Evaluate Moz's Criteria: Review Moz's specific criteria for detecting keyword stuffing. Sometimes, their algorithms may produce false positives. Ensure that the detected keywords are genuinely excessive and not common words or phrases used naturally.
Optimize Content: If you confirm that keyword stuffing exists, work with your client to optimize the content by removing unnecessary keywords and ensuring they are used naturally. The goal is to maintain a balance between SEO optimization and providing valuable content to users.
Documentation: Keep records of your findings and any changes made for future reference in case your client still questions the issue.
By investigating these areas, you can address the keyword stuffing alert and ensure that your client's Magento site is optimized for both search engines and user experience.

Relevant but not-relevant keywords impact to SEO
Hello, I would like to know if the selection of individual keywords(that are not primary, secondary or tertiary) are important for SEO regardless of the relevancy to the page topic. I am wondering how much of a contribution a non-P1/P2/P3 can make in terms of SEO? For example it is a product page and I have built my content with P1,P2&P3 based only on the product and its properties itself. Do you think that a content gap for the page could be the production process of that product? So even if it is a product and its properties page, I can add 2 sentences about the production, so that I can drive more traffic by including these 2 informative sentences.? EXAMPLE:
Keyword Research | | Siir
So lets' say my topic is "hair types" (P1) and my subtopics are "Straight," "wavy," and "curly"(P2s) which I used as subtitles. But throughout the page, I am planning to add some relevant but not-directly-relevant keywords here and there since they have high metrics and volumes. For example a potential sentence I can add: "innovative hair products these days can offer amazing results for the desired hair types". It is not specifically about "hair types" but I am using the keyword "innovative hair products" (good metrics keyword) which may help for the traffic... Another potential not-so-direct sentence can be: "For all hair types, the hair damages are common: heat damage, chemical damage and mechanical damage". Would adding this extra sentence where I am not specifically talking about "hair types" (my topic) but "hair damages" and damage examples (off-topic high metric keywords) help me to drive traffic to my website? And how much of an impact would it be?0 -

Traffic to blog home page is going down after changing my WordPress Theme
I recently changed my wordpress theme from a standard free theme to a newer theme. The home page I switched up a bit adding more calls to action to some of our top posts and leading people to popular categories and so on. This greatly improved the usability of our site as it allowed us to highlight new posts. The previous free template simply listed 10 of our most recent posts on a page with small snippets and then you had to move to the next page to keep reading. Since switching my theme the blog traffic has stayed relatively level. That being said, the specific posts traffic is going up a lot whereas the organic traffic to the blog homepage is now nearly depleted. Is this a common thing to happen or is there anything I can do to fix this issue?

If my blog is on Wordpress, and I've installed the AMP plug-in, what do I need to do to get Google to start indexing all my posts as AMP pages?
If I add /amp to the end of any of my posts, I can see that the plug-in is working. It's been months since I installed it, though, and Google hasn't indexed any of the AMP pages. Am I missing a step?

Duplicate Text on Blog & Internal News Page
I have two places I post news for our company. Our blog - typically more informal posts
Content Development | | seo-hunter
mycompany.wordpress.com & Our news page - typically more newsworthy than the blog
mycompany.com/news My question is, It is okay to just copy the exact text from my wordpress blog and paste to my news area of my site and vice versa? Does this hurt ranking potential for either page?0
